Dr. Jiri Soukup, is an accomplished authority on complex software issues - and consults across North America on software architecture, data structure design, complex systems and legacy software evolution.
He is a widely respected researcher and author, having published innumerable papers and been awarded many patents for his work. His books include two Addison-Wesley titles: Taming C++: Pattern Classes and Persistence for Large Projects and Pattern Languages of Program Design: Chapter 20.
He is also president of Code Farms Inc., and has been a key contributor to several state-of-the-art Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software projects. He was a director and a founding member of Cadence Design Systems, manager of AT&T's VLSI layout system, and one of the key developers of one of IBM's key printed board layout systems.
